Banyan Creek – An Origin Unlike Any Other

A Message from Banyan Creek Owner, Brian Wenrick

In 2016 we embarked on a comprehensive project preserving Crane Creek’s original layout while enhancing it significantly.  We introduced multiple sets of tees catering to players of all abilities, by extending the course’s yardage and incorporating distinctive new features.  The focal point of our revitalization is a magnificent banyan tree the overlooks the 1st and 18th greens inspiring us to rename the course Banyan Creek Golf Club.

Banyan Creek, initially named Crane Creek when it debuted in the1970’s, was crafted by renowned designers Arthur Young and Charles Ankrom, it quickly earned a reputation as one of the premier courses in the region.  Its exceptional layout attracted both amateur enthusiasts and professional players alike, becoming a sought-after venue for professional qualifying events.  However, despite its early success, Crane Creek ceased operations in the early 2000’s and remained inactive until my acquisition in 2012

Our new clubhouse was designed with the Golfer in mind, hosting a large twenty-four seat bar where stories are shared, and new friends are made. With amazing food being available daily and dinner service on Wednesday and Friday nights,  weekly evening menus offer our members a variety of delicious entries.

My vision for Banyan Creek is becoming a reality.  As a private golf club committed to its members, we have steadily advanced towards achieving our goals.  Each day brings noticeable progress and new challenges for our members.
